Our Story
We Exist Because Every Child Deserves the Best Possible Start
The Dream Nest was built on a simple belief, and a deeply personal one. Here's why we do what we do.
The Founder's Story
From Parent to Purpose
The Dream Nest was founded by Sapna Niraula, who brings a strong background in business management and leadership, together with the perspective of a mother who experienced those precious early years with her own children.
“Becoming a parent showed me how important those early years truly are. I wanted to create the kind of environment I would feel completely confident leaving my own child in safe, stimulating, and full of care.”
Choosing the name was just as personal. “A nest symbolises warmth, protection and belonging. I wanted a space where children feel safe, secure and loved, while also being encouraged to dream big, explore their interests, and grow in confidence.”
That insight, that early childhood is not just preparation for school but the foundation for life, became the DNA of everything The Dream Nest is built on.
Today, three nursery settings serve families across the Heathrow–Windsor corridor, each built on the same values: emotional security first, purposeful learning, and genuine parent partnerships.

Nurture • Wonder • Flourish
At The Dream Nest, childhood is a time to feel safe, be curious, build confidence and discover who you are. Our approach is built around three simple ideas: Nurture, Wonder and Flourish.

Nurture
Every child needs strong roots from which to grow.
We create a warm, secure and caring environment where children feel known, valued and loved. Through trusting relationships with our team, children develop a sense of belonging and the confidence to be themselves.
We nurture each child as an individual, supporting their emotional wellbeing, celebrating their achievements and encouraging them through every new step.
Because when children feel safe and supported, they are ready to grow.

Wonder
Childhood should be filled with curiosity, imagination and discovery.
We give children the freedom to explore, investigate, create and ask questions through meaningful play and real experiences. From sensory discovery and messy play to stories, nature, creativity and adventures outdoors, there is always something new to wonder about.
We don't just give children answers. We encourage them to experiment, make choices, solve problems and discover things for themselves.
Because a curious child develops a lifelong love of learning.

Flourish
Every child has their own strengths, personality and potential.
We help children develop the confidence, independence, resilience and skills they need for their next adventure — whether that's moving rooms, starting school or simply trying something new for the first time.
We celebrate progress in all its forms and give children opportunities to take safe risks, build friendships, express themselves and become increasingly independent.
Our ambition isn't simply to prepare children for school. It's to give them strong foundations for life.

What Our Families Say
Our Values
The Non-Negotiables That Guide Everything
These aren't words on a wall. They show up in how our staff greet your child every morning, in every activity planned, and in every conversation with parents.
Emotional Safety
Children cannot learn, explore or grow until they feel completely safe and understood. We create that security through consistent, caring key-worker relationships every single day.
Purposeful Play
Play is not time-filling — it builds independence, problem-solving, communication, and creativity. Every activity at The Dream Nest is designed with a clear developmental purpose.
Intentional Learning
We don’t fill time; we design experiences. Every day is planned with purpose — supporting each child’s unique growth, curiosity, and developmental milestones.
Respectful Parent Partnership
You know your child best. We believe in open, honest communication — sharing progress, listening to your insights, and working together for the best outcomes for your child.

Gross and fine motor skills through active indoor and outdoor play experiences.
Literacy
A love of books, mark-making, and early reading skills developed playfully and naturally.
Mathematics
Number, shape, and pattern through hands-on exploration that makes maths joyful.
Understanding the World
Curiosity about people, places, nature, and technology sparked through discovery play.
Our Commitment to Safeguarding
The safety of every child in our care is our highest priority, without exception. All The Dream Nest staff are fully DBS-checked, regularly trained in safeguarding procedures, and operate within strict child protection policies. We follow all Ofsted and statutory safeguarding guidelines, and each of our three settings has its own dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead. Parents can always ask to review our safeguarding policy.
