    Join our friendly, supportive team at The Dream Nest and help shape the early learning experiences of our youngest children. Our Level 3 Practitioners play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment — where every child feels emotionally secure and excited to learn.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality, purposeful childcare and learning in line with the EYFS framework
    • Build warm, consistent key-worker relationships that give children emotional security
    • Observe, assess, and plan engaging, age-appropriate activities tailored to each child
    • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development every day
    • Communicate effectively and openly with parents — daily updates, progress notes, and genuine partnership
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised learning environment at all times
    • Uphold The Dream Nest's safeguarding policies and child protection standards without compromise

    Requirements

    • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (CCLD or equivalent)
    • Good understanding of the EYFS and how to apply it in day-to-day practice
    • Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Safeguarding certificates (or willingness to complete on joining)
    • A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them reach their potential
    • Ideally 2+ years of experience working in a nursery or early years setting
    • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude

    We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join The Dream Nest family. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate childcare professional to take the lead in creating a warm, stimulating, and nurturing environment — where every child can thrive and every parent feels completely reassured.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and inspire your room team to deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS
    • Plan, implement, and evaluate purposeful activities that support children's individual developmental goals
    • Ensure each child's individual needs, interests, and learning milestones are met and documented
    • Maintain accurate observations and learning journal records for all key children in your room
    • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for both children and staff
    • Work closely with parents and carers to support each child's development journey
    • Contribute actively to whole-nursery development, team meetings, and continuous improvement

    Requirements

    • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education (CCLD or equivalent)
    • Sound working knowledge of the EYFS framework and current safeguarding standards
    • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an early years setting preferred
    • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
    • A positive, calm attitude and high professional standards at all times
    • A genuine passion for childcare and the drive to inspire the team around you

    Looking to start your career in early years? The Dream Nest's apprenticeship programme is your pathway into one of the most rewarding professions there is. You'll gain hands-on experience across our Sipson, Longford or Oakland settings while working towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification — with full support from our experienced team every step of the way.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support qualified practitioners in delivering daily care routines and learning activities
    • Help create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all children
    • Build positive, warm relationships with children, families, and colleagues
    • Develop your EYFS knowledge through hands-on experience and off-the-job study
    • Complete your Level 3 qualification with full guidance and mentoring from The Dream Nest team
